Job Description
Praxis is a leading specialist in critical systems engineering and is now looking to expand its graduate engineering (software, systems and safety) talent within the business.
Top of your class you should have the drive and passion to succeed in a fast-changing environment. You’ll thrive on using your rigourous analytical skills and be willing to learn leading-edge engineering techniques to strengthen your existing skills. You’ll be a strong team player, excellent communicator and be able to demonstrate a good level of commercial acumen.

Job Role
The role could include (subject to competence and experience) any or all of the following:
- Solving delivery problems or identifying and escalating as required
- Contributing to technical content, for sales proposals
- Being an active member of the Praxis software community, sharing best-practice and contributing to Praxis’ capabilities in this area

Education, training, and professional standing :
Education, training, and professional standing
- Will be studying for a relevant engineering or science degree
- A student membership of a relevant engineering body would not be unusual
Experience
- None other than current planned study is expected
Skills
- Microsoft Office working environment
- Knowledge of industry-standard tools and techniques, and a critical appreciation of their strengths and weaknesses
- A willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and languages
- An ability to think analytically, rigorously and creatively
- Candidates are likely to be highly customer-focussed and have effective oral and written communications skills to a range of technical and commercial audiences
- An ability to carry out detailed justified work to commercial and technical requirements, and to be able to constructively criticise and assess others' work
- The ability and personal drive to work in teams or alone, with client and Praxis staff, both in Praxis offices and on-site in the UK and potentially overseas
