Business Manager

Job Description
To win profitable business for the Company either from existing or new clients and build sustainable and long term relationships that encourage repeat business.
|

Job Role
We require a Business Manager who can develop a credible pipeline of prospects, forecast revenue and maintain an accurate forward view. Responsibilities include all phases of the sales lifecycle from lead generation to sale closure, with regular review to ensure personal targets are met.
You will understand the climate within the market that you operate and will be able to develop an organisational strategy and build client relationships in line with this.

Education and training
Will have, or capable of, a degree level education or equivalent. Professional sales training.

|

Experience
Experience in selling consultancy services or bespoke software solutions in a relevant market is essential to this role as well as a proven track record of meeting targets of over £1.5m pa. Relevant markets are Aerospace and Defence, Rail and Nuclear.

Skills
Significant knowledge of a relevant market and experience in a customer facing environment influencing and communicating at a high level. An enthusiastic and pro-active approach. You will also be flexible with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
