The Yellow Book project comprises:

• the website – supporting material and a discussion forum
• the training courses – meeting training needs of Yellow Book users
• the User Group – an annual forum for Yellow Book users
• the Steering Group – a cross-industry group leading Yellow Book development
• the application notes – further support in key problem areas

We have delivered Yellow Book training across the board in the rail industry, including:

• over 4000 senior managers and safety engineers
• major organisations including Network Rail, Alstom, Bombardier, Siemens
• worldwide – UK, Holland, Germany, USA
• main line, light rail and mass transit systems

The Yellow Book draws on best practice from industries as well as rail, for example Air Traffic Management, Aerospace and offshore oil and gas.

The advice is consistent with applicable standards, including:

• CENELEC standards (50126, 50128, 50129)
• Railway Group Standards
• European requirements.
